Although stainless steel cookware has been considered a safe alternative, it has a drawback. Stainless steel cookware has a combination of stainless steel, chrome and nickel. None of them are harmful in small doses, but many peopleallergic to nickel. If you are allergic to nickel, you should refrain from using stainless steel cookware.

They work just like the Teflon cookware, do not give unless they do one of the poisonous fumes, the Teflon pans. KitchenAid has its own set ofNon-stick cookware made of anodized aluminum called KitchenAid Gourmet Essentials. This cookware set features stainless steel with silicone grip handles. All three companies cookware sets are very well recommended non-toxic sets. I use the Kitchen Aid Gourmet Essentials cookware in my kitchen. It is the best value of three.
