Product OverviewsThis 6-piece set contains an 8-inch skillet, a 10-inch skillet, a 2.2-quart saucepan, and a 4.3-quart stockpot. This unique configuration provides the best sizes all combined into one set. The 8-inch and 10-inch skillets represent the most popular sizes and are perfect for sauteing. The 2.2-quart saucepan is ideal for sauces, gravies, rice, and small quantities of soup. The 4.3-quart stockpot is great for larger quantities of soup, sauces, and gravies. Swiss Diamond cookware is a revolutionary cooking surface using up to 200,000 diamond crystals in each pan to reinforce the premium nonstick composite. It is so durable that Swiss Diamond cookware carries a lifetime limited warranty against cracking, blistering, or peeling. Since diamonds are four times more conductive than copper, ten times that of aluminum, and one hundred times better than titanium, no other nonstick pan can compare to the uniform heat conductivity of Swiss Diamond--from the center of the pan to the outer edge without hotspots. Swiss Diamond cookware brings together all the most important techniques you expect from a high-quality cookware set, browning, deglazing, and even producing a fond--the pan drippings that brown and add such rich flavor and taste to gravies and sauces. This set is an Amazon.com exclusive--you won't find it anywhere else!
Swiss Diamond 6-Piece Cast-Aluminum Cookware Set Reviews By CustomersI bought this set 3 years ago and this is the best cookware I have by far. The other non-stick cookware I have are Calphalon, Berndes and T-Fal, but none can compare. The slightly rugged surface must be the secret of that purfect crust my omlettes have when I use SD pans. And cleaning them is a breeze. I did not come to testing the manufacturer's claims about using metal utensils with SD wares ***. I have been using non-stick wares for ages I have a variety of plastic and wooden utensils, as well as habit of using them. So I continue using them with SD as well. Also, I still have other non-stick cookware and it would be highly inefficient to change my cooking habits only because I can gently use metal on SD. In any case, in my use the non-stick items expire not because of the wrong utensils, but because non-stick coating 'burns off', which it does pretty frequently in my kitchen because I cook a lot for my family, as well as for entertaining friends.
My older son is looking to buy his own appartment and I consider buying him SD cookware as part of the house warming gift, unless he asks for something specific.
*** If you are looking for the cookware that lasts forever, buy plain cast iron, or iron frying pans, cast iron or aluminum dutch ovens and stainless steel pots. However, be prepared to invest in cleaning and/or reseasoning them.

This cookware seems very durable and well engineered. Sturdy handles, venting lids, solid and nice weight. Nothing seems to stick to it. In my opinion the value is much better than calphalon cookwares and will probably outlast all others that we have tried.

Sorry folks but this is a real sham. They say it is a diamond coat with no Teflon. It is not teflon (which is DuPont trademark) but the chemical equivalent made by another company with a different name. Please read this article.
