  • This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by sautéing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven.

  • Anolon Titanium 10-Piece Nonstick Cookware Set Reviews By Customers
  • So, I just bought the ten piece set to replace many of these given to me 8 years ago. I did so as the Titanium has been discontinued, and I am not really keen on the new styles.

That said, these are 6-7 year pans. I used the Titanium pans heavily during that time, often under high heat - only in the last couple years I would say the pan has become no more really than the other pans I have which are mediocre at best. The pots still look very good - but one tends not to use under the same heat etc. I expect the pots will be around in another 8 years, without much change, so I am pleased with the addition of a few more to allow for the bigger collection.

So, lets discuss the pans. They represent only TWO of the 10 pieces here, so, take that for what you will. Honestly, I will likely buy some additional pans as backup and to reduce the heavy load - maybe these will last longer as I have also become a better cook (i.e. don't need to cook so hot anymore). That said, they withstand a lot of abuse well, but will not hold their appearance on the exterior all that long (not buying for the cosmetics). As well, the smallest of the pans is misbalanced, and with nothing in the pan, will not sit flat - silly error in design.

The surface is fantastic however, and held up well against some high end Calphalon purchased at the same time. I appreciate the dishwasher ability (only time to time... most of the time, you should clean it yourself).

All in all, a good buy. At 6 items (does anyone really care about lids? I have some glass lids that seem to fit about everything, so I don't bother with the included lids) for 0, it comes in at a pop. Pretty decent, and frankly, for /yr based on the lifetime I expect from the most heavily used pan, I am quite happy.

    A very satisfied customer! - A. N. Wong - Los Angeles, CA
I originally bought the Analon Advanced set. When I found out that it was not dishwaher safe, I immediately returned them to Macy's and researched high and low. The ones I found dishwaher safe were All Clad LTD, Anolon Titanium and Circulon Infinite. All clad was ridiculously over priced (0++) and the handle was not ergonomic friendly (to my surprise, as it should be PERFECT with that price). Circulon was pretty good but it was a tad heavy. I 'settled' with Analon Titanium and have been very satisfied. The weight was perfect, the nonstick surface was remarkable and the handles were exactly the same as Analon Advanced but Advanced was rubber, and the pots and pans (with their lids) can be inside the oven up to 500 degrees. I am amazed that I can fry an egg without oil and able to swirl the egg around and it did not stick! Cleaning was needless to say, SUPER EASY. Ironically, I did not put them in the dishwashwer yet as I am still very excited over my purchase and taking the time to handwash them everyday. :) At least I will not have to worry if somebody accidently put them in the dishwasher in the future. Only thing is, the handles can get hot if you cook over high heat for a long period of time. But then, I understand it has to be that way in order for it to widsthand 500 degree.

Fine if you get a low price - Peggy - CA United States
I purchased these after several friend seemed happy with it. I bought them for a very good price (not what I see today) and figured I'd upgrade from my Revere stainless. Frankly, I wish I'd kept my Revere cookware. The saucepans chipped on the exterior edges within months after buying the set. The way the brand is promoted, I expected better durability. I also don't find that the handles, particularly the lids, are cool enough to handle without using a towel or mitt. The dark color does hide stains which is a good thing since I can't always get drip marks off the pans.

The non-stick coating works very well. I haven't has any problems other than occasional soap spotting. Sometimes it just doesn't look clean even though I know it has been washed. I always hand wash.

These pots and pans are great if you want something easy to clean and lightweight (compared to other cookware). We cook fairly lightly so my set will probably last longer than other commenters here. I'm still a little paranoid about the whole Teflon issue so I'm slowly moving to stainless cookware when there are good sales on brands such as All-Clad.

Overall, I gave it a medium rating since they perform well and I got a really good price for the set. Had I paid more, I might lower my rating.
